Living and growing up in rural Shropshire, Nichola's natural affinity for art began at a young age and at 12 she was offered an art scholarship at Moreton Hall girls school.

Despite pursuing an alternative career path, she has thrived on having a creative outlet and at 19, was commissioned to produce a set of 12 portraits for a family friend's wedding, sparking the beginnings of her artistic career. During her gap year and following time at university, she specialised in pastel and pencil work and is now exploring the possibilities with oil paint.

While her professional work has mostly been commission focused until now, with a particular interest in equine and canine subjects, she’s now taking a personal sabbatical from her digital marketing role and is seizing the additional time to expand a portfolio of personal explorative work.
