Typically Nichola works from your photographs, especially for animal subjects, though she may be able to source reference material for you or work from life if you would prefer. Once you have sent over the initial enquiry, Nichola will discuss your vision for the piece and key references points depending on the subject, ensuring a balance between your desires and Nichola’s creative interpretation. She will also discuss mediums and dimensions recommended and to suit your requirements.

Nichola’s workload and the specifics of your piece will determine the time scale for completion. If you have a specific date in mind, please get in contact as soon as possible. Due to the waiting list, short timeframes are most often not possible. If Nichola has capacity, she will confirm acceptance of the commission and a rough timescale from planning to completion.
